From musician to master of wind instrument repair

Our technician, Ricardo Lillo Gil, began his studies in the Saxophone specialty in 2005 at the Villena Professional Conservatory of Music under the tutelage of Rafael Martínez Esteve. And in 2012 he joined the Villena Municipal Music Band as a full-fledged musician.

It was in 2015 when, after years in music, he decided to go one step further and began his adventure in the world of woodwind musical instrument repair. This takes place at Sanganxa SL, located in Llanera de Ranes, and under the direct supervision of Óscar Egea Altabert, current manager of Al Vent, located in Tavernes de la Valldigna.

It is also there where he completes and perfects his training in the repair of Brass musical instruments under the tutelage of Franchesco León Pereira, current main technician at Musical Campos, located in Valencia and Castellón.

During this period, he graduated with great success and obtained the Professional Music Degree in the specialty of Saxophone at the Villena Professional Conservatory of Music.

We must go to 2018 when, after three years of continuous work, he decided to start a business in his hometown, Villena. This is where the Quinta Justa Company was born. A reference workshop in the region that offers the best services in the sale and repair of musical instruments and that is also in constant development and evolution, always seeking full customer satisfaction.

Since October 2023, he has become part of the teaching staff of the Higher Conservatory of Music of Castilla-La Mancha (CSMCLM), as a specialist teacher in Mechanical Fundamentals of Woodwind and Mechanical Fundamentals of Brass.

He currently carries out his professional duties as the main technician of Quinta Justa, while at the same time serving as President of the Commission of the Villena Municipal Music Band.
